The Oregon Trail  had several alternates. Everybody was looking for a shorter route. On the map only the Oregon Trail is hooked up. Maybe someday I will get to the others. In addition to the my trail sites there is also a series of interpretive kiosks put up in 1993 by the Oregon Trail coordinating Council. In many case both exist at the same place.
