From Bette Worley
Our instructor, Tom Laidlaw, loves to see the confluence of rivers so he
took us on a walk to see the 3 rivers, Gallatin, Jefferson, & Madison
becoming the Missouri River. Black clouds loomed on the horizon but Don Popejoy, our coordinator said: "It's going the other way, you won't get wet.
Well, we did; it thundered & lightninged and rained on the "Corps of
Discovery." We got back to our lunch site and ate in wet clothes & boarded the
bus for a 2 hr. ride to Helena, MT. A true Lewis and Clark experience.
