Today we saw several Lewis and Clark Campsites and lunch stops. We were going reverse on their return trip, so we had to think backwards. The Three Forks of the Missouri had thrilled us a few days ago, now we saw another Three Forks - three Indian trails coming together, which L&C used on May 3, 1806. Our flag-bearer today is Alice Wilcox. The Bird Book has also been updated.

This was the major blockage to river travel for L&C and other travelers.
