From
Bette Worley: We saw many sights today. we saw
Multnomah Falls flowing over a very high cliff of about 585 feet. We stopped
at various sights where Lewis and Calrk had been. Our evening dinner at the
Red Lion in Astoria, OR overlooked the marina and the Pacific Ocean. We had
delicious salmon for the third day. Our instructor, Tom Laidlaw, an actor as
well as an expert on the Lewis & Clark history, impersonated William Cannon
for our evening presentation. we have been very privileged to have Tom & Don
Popejoy for our instructor and coordinator.
