Starting out on my adventure driving a canal boat

Linlithgow skyline from the canal, St. Michaels's Church & Linlithgow Palace.

Done with the canal for the day I went looking for the Antonine Wall. On the left is the shell of a church in Carriden, where the wall began. No interpretation here, but a few miles down the road at Bo'ness is Kinneill House with the remains of the later Kinneill Church and a representation of the fortlet which was here.

A few miles further down the road, at Polmont, there was more Antonine Ditch

I want to thank Kevin and Anne Marie Russell of Bytes 'n' Pieces for the Internet service. This is a great little cafe with great prices and the staff are very friendly and helpful. 844 Main Street, Camelon, UK. 01324 874 960
