Today I biked about 3 miles each way on
the Forth & Clyde towpath, from lock 10 to the end (or beginning) of
the canal at the River Carron. The open lock is the original lock 4,
now it jst flows straight thru.  |

Three miles from Lock
10 the Forth & Clyde joins the Carron River. I saw it at low tide,
so it is just a mud flat. |

This nice friendly
restaurant was originally a boat repair house for the canal, I
stopped and asked for a glass of water in the morning, and had a
nice talk with the chef. When I went for dinner later that night,
she bought me dinner. |
