I have told the story
at 27th & Columbia in
Columbia St. Stamps, but briefly it is:
1907 - Bacon
Place platted north of city in Clarke county.
1909 - area added to city
1910 - street names changed to conform with city names
1912 - new curbs, new stamps.
2007 - all 1907
& 1912 stamps still exist.
