The subdivision of Arnada Park has quite an
interesting story. The original owners and developers were. E.M.
Rands, a lawyer.
J.H. Elwell, lawyer and Real Estate Broker.
Dr. A.B. Eastham, dentist, one time mayor of Vancouver,
congressman.
They formed the Vancouver Townsite Company and, along with The
Commercial Bank, they platted this section of the city on May 7,
1806 |

It is said the name for the subdivision came from
the three wives, Margaret, Anna, and Ida. As in many
other early subdivisions they used their own names for the streets.
They names were changed pursuant to a 1911 ordinance, but |
